In this performance, I assumed the role of a fictional real estate developer representing the imaginary company PanTerra d.o.o., arriving in Pula to present a proposed development. The fictional project is set in Valelunga—an emerging yet still overlooked area of the city, portrayed as a hidden oasis poised for transformation. Through this work, I also addressed Pula’s neglected industrial heritage, the local climate of real estate development, and the uncertain future of Valelunga, which risks being overtaken by large-scale urban growth. This piece is part of an ongoing series in which I explore phenomena tied to investor-driven urbanism, including overdevelopment, performative concern for community needs, and superficial environmentalism.
